Leadership Development & Evaluation
At the heart of LCI’s leadership development work lies SOAR, our educational leadership framework. We understand that the world of education requires its leaders to develop and use expertise in Strategic, Organizational, and Relational leadership domains. SOAR is constructed to help leaders focus on both the totality and discrete components of their role.
LCI addresses leadership evaluation needs in two ways. We help educators examine and refine their existing professional evaluation systems. We also provide our own Multidimensional Professional Performance suite of rubrics, processes and resources, proven tools that are used widely across the U.S.

Are you an aspiring leader, exploring philosophies and practices underpinning quality educational leadership - or are you responsible for their development? LCI facilitated programs, institutes or conferences may be just what you need to make real connections between current learning and practical, applicable strategies and actions. These experiences also provide valuable opportunities to network with others who share an interest in developing and supporting educational leadership.
Are you a novice leader, in the first three or four years of a leadership position, focusing on applying theory and learning to practice – or are you responsible for inducting and supervising novice leaders? If so, you may be interested in our small group or individual coaching. Your LCI coach works closely with you to address your specific interests and priorities, providing tailored recommendations, strategies and models that meet your needs.
Are you an experienced leader who wants to deepen practices or refine one or more skill sets, or are you a principal supervisor, responsible of monitoring and/or evaluating leaders? LCI consultancies provide fine-grained customization around specific, targeted leadership needs. And our Multidimensional Professional Performance Suite of tools and resources supports ongoing assessment, evaluation and improvement. Separate tools and resources focus on the practice of the school principal, the superintendent and other school and district leaders.
