Ms. Lalor began her work in education as a seventh grade social studies teacher. She is a certified Fellow at Communities for Learning: Leading Lasting Change. She has presented nationally at the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) on managing standards for special education teachers, co-teaching, and using multiple measures to determine student performance. Angela’ latest article, “Using Multiple Measures of Student Performance for Grading and Reporting Purposes” was featured in the Winter 2009 issue of the LCI newsletter. In this article, Angela shares examples from her LCI programs that illustrate how teachers use multiple measures charts to articulate and examine the relationship amongst different types of assessments, the grading system used to evaluate the assessments, and the report card. |
